It has such useful features as a large digital readout, a battery level checker, and rubber corner protectors. The settings on it are also easy to choose and very visible too considering how small the face of this multimeter is. Innova did a nice job designing this product.

    This meter is really accurate and easy to use for a small and inexpensive multimeter. It was actually a little bit of a surprise to us considering the price point that it is sold at. As long as you don’t abuse this multimeter it will work well for you.
  • Possible drawbacks with this product
    The meter itself is a little on the small side so it can be somewhat tough to use. We also see the potential for some durability issues but if you protect this device while using it, then it does do a nice job on electrical testing tasks.

8. DROK 180038 Digital Multimeter

The company Drok presents this digital multimeter. Its primary purpose is to register the voltage of the auto battery. The product performs this operation without any hassle and with precision. It also displays the temperature inside the car at the same time. Note that the readings are in Fahrenheit.

    Its size makes it a very unique and portable multimeter, to say the least. It is unbelievably lightweight and you can put it in your pocket when you are not using it. It takes up hardly any room in your toolbox too.
  • Possible drawbacks with this product
    Just like the description says this is a ‘mini’ multimeter product and it is not the sort of meter that works for everyone. People with extremely big hands may have trouble working all the controls; think of how hard it is to use some smaller cell phones when typing in a message because it’s similar.

This is by far one of the smallest and most affordable multimeters on our review list. Don’t let that fool you, though; you get a lot of value here for the price.     The best thing by far is the affordable price you can purchase this multimeter for. It does a lot of testing functions for such an inexpensive multimeter. As a matter of fact, it has as many functions and performs them as accurately as many multimeters that cos 2 or 3 times as much.

    This is by no means a perfect product and sometimes you get what you pay for. We definitely think you have to treat this multimeter with kid gloves because of some possible durability issues with it. It’s small size also makes it a little difficult to work with in some cases.

    This is one of the most interesting multimeters on our list, to say the least. It looks a little funny because you can actually hook it up to an android based cell phone or to a computer USB port for data storage and information sharing. That is a unique quality for a multimeter.
  • Possible drawbacks with this product
    Although this device is very innovative for sure they also sacrificed some features you would normally have on a multimeter to accomplish that. Such things as data holding and storage on the multimeter itself have been omitted.
